Question: How long did it take you to write your first book?
Answer: I started writing my first book in 2006, however it never did get finished, but my first completed book was started in November 2009 and finished in February 2014.
Question: What made you want to be a writer?
Answer: My parents always told me "You have more excuses than Carter's got pills" I never really fully understood the saying (I was just a kid) but my mother explained to me that I could weave a story like no other so that I could get out of doing something I didn't want to do. Eventually, I found myself enjoying telling stories to friends at sleepovers (scary stories that I came up with as I went along) and that blossomed into an intrigue into actual fiction, which later took root into the paranormal genre. 
Question: How old were you when you started writing? 
Answer: Since I started with writing poetry I would have to peg the time-frame to 7th grade. This would mean that I was about 12 years old.
